The liquor distilled directly of pure cider, without intervention of their husks, it is so old in Asturias, as the own cider. It is a very aromatic liquor, of dry flavor and with a wide variety in gustatory shades. Its industrial production in Asturias has always been relegated to a second plane, due possibly, to the low yield that offers a base product of 6 percent of alcohol.
However it has always existed the domestic and the artisan production, very restricted at the moment by the legal norms that regulate the distillation and production of alcohol.
In this rural environment, the apple liquor has enjoyed great prestige as a product traditionally for those "big occasions" and an element of the rural medicine, in multiple formulas so much digestive as topical.
The “Caseria” rescues this elaboration, respecting to the maximum its handmade character, transforming it into the main product/protagonist of its industry and putting it to the disposition of the most demanding consumer.
